A little about us...  The Manssur family purchased Escape Salon and Spa in May of 2019.  "Escape" is our third salon in Genesee County.  We have been in the beauty industry since 1970.

Sherry Manssur began her career as a cosmetologist in 1970.  She competed in national hair shows before becoming a judge at international hair competitions.  For several years, she performed as Styles Director for the Official Hair Fashion Committee before becoming a platform artist at international shows.

Sherry was an educator with Frank DeLorenzo (the original owner of "Escape") for many years nationally before she opened her first salon, "Sherry’s” in Flint, Michigan in 1988. “Sherry’s” continued to grow and flourish until she decided to grow in 1993. Sherry then opened “Somerset Salon Day Spa” which was 10,000 square feet. It was with this salon that she coined the term “day spa” in the industry.  Sherry was the first to bring Aveda to Michigan, as well as Starbucks!

Justin Manssur brings many years of business management experience with him to "Escape".  Justin was previously also an international model for many years, as well as a personal trainer and masseuse. Additionally, he manages Manssur's Cleaning Service with his father, Danny.  Manssur's Cleaning Service was established in Flint, Michigan in 1970.

Holly Manssur has a BA from the University of Michigan. Her major was communications, and she has a minor in writing.  Holly joyfully left the corporate world of Marketing to join her family working in "Escape".   She also works with Danny and Justin marketing for Manssur's Cleaning Service.
